Coaching Ethics Guidelines

This USA Coaching Ethics Code intends to provide standards of ethical conduct for coaches involved with USA Hockey and its member organizations. It provides General Principles and Ethical Standards which cover many situations encountered by coaches, with its principle goals the welfare and protection of participants with whom coaches work. Coaches will respect and protect human and civil rights and not knowingly participate in or condone unfair discriminatory practices.

USA Hockey Skills Program - NOW AVAILABLE! 

One of USA Hockey's most ambitious projects ever is now available on DVD-ROM. This virtual encyclopedia of hockey skills will help organize practices and teach the game correctly to players who will see their games improve. 

USA Hockey mandates helmets for coaches

During the 2006 Annual Congress, USA Hockey’s board of directors passed new legislation mandating that all coaches and instructors wear helmets during on-ice sessions.
