November 2, 2009 ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Forwards Charlie Coyle (East Weymouth, Mass.) and Nick Bjugstad (Coon Rapids, Minn.) were added to the U.S. National Under-18 Team roster for the 2009 Under-18 Four Nations Cup in Pori, Finland, Nov. 6-8. Coyle currently plays for the South Shore Kings of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. In 14 games, Coyle is second on his team and third in the league with 27 points. His 21 assists are tops in the EJHL. Bjugstad, a senior at Blaine (Minn.) High School, posted 58 points (31-27) during the 2008-09 season. As a member of Team Northwest in the Upper Midwest High School Elite Hockey League, Bjugstad has registered 21 points (7-13) in 23 games. Both Coyle and Bjugstad have prior international experience. Each skated with the U.S. Under-18 Select Team at the 2009 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament in Piestany, Slovakia. Coyle scored two goals, while Bjugstad tallied a goal and added an assist in tournament play. The U.S. National Under-18 Team will meet teams from Finland, Sweden and Switzerland during the round-robin tournament.
